I started seriously working on Decoy Central about one year ago in January 2022. I formed the LLC and started working hard on finding decoy suppliers and establishing relationships.
About six months later on June 22, 2022 we opened the store at decoycentral.com. By the end of 2022 we had shipped decoys to hundreds of customers in 40 states.
If you have read my previous posts or watched the intro video on our YouTube channel then you already know that I started Decoy Central because decoys and waterfowling gear had become too expensive. Regular people struggled to get the gear they really wanted and the high cost was a barrier to new people coming into the sport we love. I set out to change that and 2022 gave us a great start.
In our first six months it was not uncommon for people to message us thinking this was some kind of scam. How can your decoys be so cheap? We assured people that this was not a scam. These are good quality decoys. Our prices are low because we are focused on the duck hunter. We want everyone to be able to afford good quality decoys and waterfowl gear. Then they can have fun and feel good about their time in the marsh. Whether you go out one time a year or thirty, Decoy Central has you covered, at great prices.
As we wrap up 2022 and look forward to 2023, we believe even more strongly in what we are doing.

Big increase in the products we offer. We recently added silos and we are working on adding more species of decoys and more brands. We will also add socks in 2023 and more options in duck and goose calls. Tons of new products!
We are coming to you. In 2022 we attended the Delta Waterfowl Duck Hunters Expo in Little Rock , AR. This year we will be back at the Delta Expo in July as well as the Ducks Unlimited DUX Expo in Texas in May, the Open Season Sportsman Expo in Kansas City in March and the Nebraska Deer and Game Expo in Lincoln in January.
